Kaiti Konstantinou lost her battle with cancer on Monday (10.03.2025), leaving the entire theatrical community in mourning. Takis Zacharatos decided to bid farewell to her in his unique way. In 1998, Kaiti Konstantinou took on the legendary role of ‘Soso Papadima’ in the successful comedy series ‘Crimes,’ which became a pivotal moment in her television career. It was during this time that she met Takis Zacharatos. During filming, she collaborated with the talented Zacharatos, who made appearances in some episodes, turning the characters’ lives upside down. Takis Zacharatos publicly honored Kaiti Konstantinou by revealing that this year he dressed up as ‘Soso’ during his shows. In an emotional Instagram post, he wrote: ‘Dear Kaiti, you will always be in our hearts in the best place because you were not only an exceptional actress and collaborator but also a rare gem with dignity, ethics, respect, and immense love for people! It felt like I knew it when I dressed up as “Soso” this year. You came to the studio, we laughed so much because of your great sense of humor. You said you’d come see me, and I waited with joy until yesterday when my soul shattered. Good journey, my heart. Thank you for everything we shared, everything we said, and everything left unsaid. We will miss you!’
