According to the couple’s account — a 30-year-old woman and her 41-year-old husband — the victim arrived at their Syros residence with her face covered. She rang the doorbell, and upon being let in by the woman, immediately began arguing with her. The man then intervened and turned aggressively against the 41-year-old.
Reports indicate the victim had brought a knife with her — allegedly used in an attempted assault on the 30-year-old — though this weapon has not yet been recovered. Under circumstances still under investigation, the man reportedly seized a kitchen knife and stabbed the woman in the back as she was leaving, causing fatal injuries.
