SYRIZA: They put difficult criteria on Kasselakis – Tough criteria for presidential candidates

Stricter criteria are being sought by his new majority for the party’s candidate presidents, as last year’s conditions were deemed insufficient, since only 30 signatures of JV members were needed. At the Political Secretariat of Syriza meeting on Tuesday (17.9.2024) “87” appeared to insist that the criteria should be stricter in order to avoid irregularities. It should be recalled that, as far as Stefanos Kasselakis was concerned, there had been a great deal of noise during the European elections, as the ND called for the publication of the former president’s assets. At the time, the former president of SYRIZA had presented the notorious excel which caused severe reactions and cost SYRIZA election.
