SYRIZA: Results of Voting for New Central Committee – 30 ex officio Seats for MPs and MEPs

On Tuesday, July 1st, the Central Electoral Committee announced the results of the hybrid voting process for the Progressive Alliance’s new Central Committee. A total of 20,145 party members participated in the vote (14,166 in person and 5,979 electronically). A total of 249 members were elected to the Central Committee (CE). Additionally, there are 30 ex officio positions reserved for MPs and MEPs, as well as 13 seats for youth organization members. Among those elected were prominent candidates from various regions including Attica, Crete, Thessaly, and others. The final list reflects a broad geographical representation and includes veteran politicians alongside newer faces within the party structure.
