Disturbing details have emerged regarding the case involving a 13-year-old girl and her 15-year-old friend, who are accused of attempting to poison the girl’s mother. The incident unfolded on the small island of Symi when the parents of the 13-year-old began noticing significant changes in their daughter’s behavior. According to reports, the teenager’s grades dropped dramatically, she started disappearing for hours at a time, and exhibited aggressive behavior. The parents claim that the 15-year-old had turned their daughter into a pawn, and they requested both children cease all communication due to his negative influence. However, the teens decided to take matters into their own hands, with the boy allegedly persuading the girl to kill her own mother. They exchanged chilling messages discussing the plan. During an opportunity when the father was away on business in Rhodes, the 15-year-old visited the girl’s home. Together, they prepared tea and cake laced with rat poison and offered it to the mother. Alerted by suspicious messages, the mother discarded the poisoned food, avoiding tragedy. The same day, overwhelmed by psychological pressure, the 13-year-old confessed everything to her mother. The family subsequently reported the incident to the police. Both teenagers now face charges of attempted murder. Speaking on the show ‘Hamogela kai Palio,’ the father of the 13-year-old claimed the 15-year-old manipulated his daughter and even tried to intimidate him. Meanwhile, the 15-year-old’s family disputes these allegations, suggesting this is retaliation because the other family does not accept their adopted child.
