Swearing-In of the New Government: Highlights from the Presidential Mansion

The swearing-in ceremony for the new government members following the reshuffle that took place on Friday, March 14, 2025, occurred at the Presidential Palace. By 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2025, new ministers and deputy ministers began arriving at the Presidential Palace for the oath-taking ceremony in the presence of the new President of the Republic, Konstantinos Tasoulas. The ceremony was officiated by Archimandrite Ioannis Karamouzis, as Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Ieronymos is in Thessaloniki for the funeral of former Metropolitan of Thessaloniki Anthimos. After the swearing-in of the new Deputy Prime Minister, Kostis Hatzidakis, and the other ministers and deputy ministers, President Tasoulas signed the Oath Protocol. Subsequently, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Deputy Prime Minister Kostis Hatzidakis, and the remaining ministers and deputy ministers also signed it. Following the ceremony, traditional photos were taken before the prime minister, deputy prime minister, and new ministers departed for the first meeting of the new cabinet at Maximos Mansion. Notable impressions included the tie worn by Migration and Asylum Minister Makis Voridis featuring the Greek flag. The blue folders handed to ministers for the cabinet session were carried by General Secretary for Government Coordination Evie Dramalioti. Several ministers arrived with family members, such as Transport Minister Christos Dima with his mother and Deputy Defense Minister Thanasis Davakis with his wife and daughter.
