Suspicious Object at National Insurance Offices on Syggrou Avenue – Large Police Mobilization

A commotion occurred shortly before 6 a.m. on Wednesday (16.04.2025) at the National Insurance offices when authorities were alerted to a suspicious object found in the building’s underground parking area on Syggrou Avenue. According to information provided by ERT, the building’s security guard reported seeing individuals who left a large bag and disappeared. Members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit rushed to the scene but ultimately determined that the large black bag was not suspicious. By 7 a.m., traffic on Syggrou Avenue resumed normally.
