Super League: On August 23 the new league center

On its Board of Directors held on Tuesday (21/01/25), it was decided to start the new one on 23 August 2025, while the central management of television was placed on the table. The Super League championship for season 2024/25 may not yet be complete, but the date of the next one has already been known! As it became known after the board, the center will be on August 23, unless there is something unexpected. CORVERSE In fact, the meeting decided that there would be central television management for nine FCs, with the exception of Olympiacos, AEKs, Panathinaikos, PAOK and Mars from the new season and with a minimum duration of three years or four years. Also, the issues with the playoffs and play-out draws were adopted, and a decision will be taken shortly to transfer the end of the playoffs by one week, due to the National team and the European obligations Olympiacos, PAOK and Panathinaikos. Decisions by the Super League Board of Directors “Unanimously approved by the Super League Board of Directors, such as the starting date of the 2025-26 Stoiximan Super League Championship, is set for 23 August 2025. CORVERSE The Super League Bureau was unanimously authorised, as it proceeded with a call for tenders for television rights of 9 FC-Members (except AEK FC, Mars, Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and PAOK), from the 2025-26 season and with a three-year or four-year duration, to be evaluated. All Stoiximan Playoffs (positions 1-4 & 5-8) and Stoiximan Playouts (positions 9-14) were unanimously approved. Following a discussion in the SPD/APO, on the transfer of the end of the Stoiximan Playoffs of the 2024-25 season, the Super League Board unanimously decided to evaluate and take a decision on the request at its next meeting to take account of parameters relating to UEFA’s European intercollegiate events, involving 3 FC; Members of the organizing authority, as well as other issues, regarding the transfer. The institutional participation of the Super League Legal Service, as well as the Legal Services of the Member States that wish to do so, was unanimously approved in the Committee on the Rules of Procedure of the E.P.O.”
