Storm ‘Ines’ Brings Heavy Rainfall to Northeastern Greece

in

The storm system ‘Ines’ continues to impact Greece, causing heavy rainfall and thunderstorms, particularly in the northeastern regions. According to a post by meteorologist Thodoris Kollias, the adverse weather persists across the country. However, he noted that “the center of most phenomena will shift by evening towards the northeastern areas.” The rain has been scattered so far, with the highest recorded levels in Kalambaka, not exceeding 65mm. Additionally, Kollias highlighted significant temperature differences between the north and south of Greece, reaching up to 16°C (27-11°C). This stark contrast is characteristic of the current weather patterns in the region during this period.
