Mozambique Poverty and Financial Debts
For over 400 years Mozambique was colonized by the Portuguese. After independence the southern African country was torn apart by civil war, when a million people died and a million more got displaced. Today, in country of 18 million, one child in every four still dies before the age of five. The National Science Foundation – Wasting Taxpayer Money In The Name Of Science
This article reivews a recent Senate investigative report that covered the National Science Foundation (NSF). The investigation found that while the NSF has made some major, positive contributions to the country, there were three major areas where the NSF was wasting significant amounts of taxpayer money, such as spending research funds on such useless projects as how to ride a bike and determing when dogs become man’s best friend.
