To educate the young and refresh the memories of the older generation… Stephano Sartini has become synonymous with the grand and imaginative shows of Greek television in the 90s, which were presented by Rula Koromela. During his appearance on the show “Pame Danae” on February 24, 2025, Sartini reminisced about past events, including those involving Koromela. The renowned Italian TV director discussed his first productions in Greece. “The offer for ‘Ciao ANT1’ came in 1992. We held casting sessions at Kyriakou’s office, reviewing photos. Both men and women participated, including Angela Gerekou. I suggested Rula Koromela for ‘Ciao ANT1’, who was then hosting ‘Morning Coffee’.” The first episode achieved a 70% rating, causing a sensation. Sartini revealed that during “Bravo,” they once brought a tiger into the dressing room and asked a guest to enter. Another time, after a dancer fell, all other dancers left the set, prompting him to ask Koromela to step in. He also mentioned that Dionysis Schoinas had confided in Koromela about his marriage proposal to Kaiti Garbi. “For many years, ‘Bravo’ never scored below 40%. Once, it dropped to 39%, and Koromela protested during the meeting. On the final day of ‘Bravo,’ I cried. My relationship with Koromela began with ‘Ciao’ and was very strong.
