As of Tuesday, June 3, 2025, stegasi.gov.gr is open with an initiative from the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family aimed at promoting equal access to housing and ensuring the well-being of all citizens. Minister of Family and Social Cohesion Domna Michailidou presented the new digital platform stegasi.gov.gr to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the Maximos Mansion. This platform will centralize all programs for home purchase, renovation, or upgrade under government interventions addressing housing issues. Citizens can find all acquisition, renovation, repair, or upgrade programs tailored to their profiles, along with subsidies, tax breaks, or facilitations provided to owners and tenants. The new website stegasi.gov.gr gathers all housing support measures worth €6.5 billion provided by the state, ensuring ease and full transparency. Programs such as ‘My House I & II,’ ‘I Upgrade My House,’ ‘I Renovate – I Rent,’ ‘Housing Allowance,’ ‘Rent Refund,’ ‘Student Housing Allowance,’ ‘Housing Allowance for Uninsured Elderly,’ ‘Social Rent,’ ‘Housing for Homeless,’ and many others aim to address various housing needs across different demographics and socio-economic groups.
