Stegasi.gov.gr: The New Platform Centralizing All Government Housing Policies

in

Launched today, Tuesday, June 3, 2025, the new digital platform stegasi.gov.gr consolidates—for the first time—all state housing programs. Minister of Social Cohesion and Family Domena Michailidou presented the initiative to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis earlier in the day. A press conference followed at an ESHEA venue, with the presence of General Secretary for Demographic and Housing Policy Konstantinos Glumis-Atsalakis. The platform aims to provide universal, equitable, and simplified access to information, programs, tax breaks, and support opportunities for housing—the most fundamental good. Citizens can use it to find their first home, renovate properties, seek rental subsidies, or explore specialized housing schemes like social renting and student accommodation. The platform gathers all 43 housing measures worth €6.5 billion offered by the government. Users complete basic details in under a minute through an intelligent search wizard to discover applicable programs, calculate potential savings, and connect directly with implementing authorities. Monthly reports ensure transparency and continuous communication, offering updates on program progress and regulatory changes. Future upgrades will integrate stegasi.gov.gr with gov.gr and AADE services for automatic data retrieval, enhancing user convenience and accuracy.
