A visit to “Faros of the World” in Dendropotamos was made by its President – Progressive Alliance, accompanied by the Department of Social Solidarity Katerina Notopoulou, the Department of Culture Sunday Malama and Dora Ageri. The aim of the visit of SYRIZA President Stefanos Kasselakis was to highlight the unique work of the Metropolis of Neapolis and Stavroupolis, Father Athensgoras and the people of the Lighthouse of the World, to strengthen, include and support Roma children. The President of SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance discussed, exchanged thoughts and mainly accepted with great emotion the wave of love received from the children of the Lighthouse of the World. As he pointed out, the Lighthouse of the World is the image of Greece of love, the image of a Greece that can turn the difficulty into excellence, the image of a Greece of empathy and solidarity. He pledged, in this context, to watch with great care the effort of Father Athensgoras and the Lighthouse of the World, while promising that in the next period he will welcome Father Athensgoras, with all the children who wish to do so in Athens, to discuss with them everything they need and concern them.
