Statue of Kobe Bryant to Be Placed at National Garden of American Heroes

Kobe Bryant, one of the greatest NBA players of all time, is set to be honored with a statue at the National Garden of American Heroes in Washington. Announced by former President Donald Trump, this initiative aims to recognize the contributions and historical value of significant figures in American history. The garden will feature statues of notable African American icons, including Muhammad Ali, Jackie Robinson, Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Billie Holiday, Aretha Franklin, Coretta Scott King, Frederick Douglass, Martin Luther King Jr., and many others. Bryant, a five-time NBA champion and legendary basketball player, joins this prestigious list alongside boxing legend Muhammad Ali. This project includes over 250 personalities who have significantly contributed to American history and culture.
