Shortly before its abolition there is a 95-year-old measure, as the fee is expected to be consulted in the coming weeks, so that the measure finally gives way to the digital transaction fee. The financial staff had presented in mid-summer the relevant bill for the end of a stamp and the next step is to give for consultation in autumn the bill that will rid citizens of this “harachi”. However, although for some 600 transactions the fee is abolished, it will be maintained on a case-by-case basis in the form of the new digital fee. These cases are: 3,60% in real estate leases, legal interest and late interest recovery invoices and transactions or contracts between natural persons. 2,40% if all parties or traders engage in business activity, or at least one has the legal form of AEO, AIA and IKE. 1,20% in the case of payment of remuneration to natural persons or members of the administration and deposit or withdrawal from the legal and entity funds available. 0.30% of the cheques submitted to credit institutions. Please note that the new fee will be digital and will be attributed to the public via AADE next month from the date of the transaction. Where the stamp fee is abolished On the other hand, in 600 transactions citizens are spared the imposition of the stamp charge whether these transactions are between individuals or individuals and the State. Thus, in the past, the burden on transactions such as loans, insurance transactions, capital formation or capital increase, bank guarantees in favour of importers, contractual interest on loans and credit on a private technical project budget, on various professional licences or the start of the use of industry facilities, on marriage or divorce permits, on the authorisation to change a surname, on the licence to change a stamp for various public contracts, etc. The financial staff estimate that the financial costs will amount to 32m euros while on an annual basis the State receives 400m euros.
