Stamatis Tsimitsili appeared at the launch event for Lena Manta’s new book, where she spoke to television cameras about Tina Messaropoulou and potential changes to the popular morning show Happy Day.
No Immediate Plans for Changes
Tsimitsili emphasized that no formal discussions about major changes to the show are underway. “We don’t hold such conversations about overhauling the program,” she said. “Our approach is to stick with the familiar formula — but if a genuine need arises, we’re fully open to making adjustments even mid-season.”
Supporting Tina Amid Family Crisis
Messaropoulou is currently in Germany, standing by her husband, Giorgos Mylonakis, who is receiving medical treatment. Tsimitsili described her colleague’s unwavering presence as deeply moving: “From the very first moment, Tina has been by Giorgos’s side. Her attitude — and the situation itself — has profoundly touched and shaken us all. We sincerely hope things improve soon: that Giorgos regains his strength, returns to work, to daily life, to his children and home — and that Tina, too, can return to her own routine. I truly believe she has no choice but to be strong. We speak daily — often several times a day.”
Flexibility Over Rigidity
On the show’s direction, Tsimitsili added: “If we feel the flow or the lineup needs a little refresh, we’ll do it — even during the season. We’re not stressed about launching with a hundred brand-new ideas or forty new segments.”
