Stamatis Kraounakis for Katerina Lioliou: “She has an eye cut by Salonicia, I’ve loved a piece of her”

His Facebook posting defended her, after the online outcry she accepted for singing Alcestis Protopsaltis’ “Two-seat”. A video published on social media by a singer fan gathered many negative comments on the way he interpreted “Two-seat”. Katerina Liolyu was attacked online with Stamatis Kraounakis defending her in his personal Facebook account. Negative comments against the singer said that she should sing such songs and stay in her own repertoire, while others commented that something has happened to the singer’s voice lately. In his long suspension the well-known singer wrote among others about Katerina Liolyu: “A young girl I really like, nice voice, nice setting up, nice stage presence, eye cutting, music boy, Salonica, love her there, and a piece of her I’ve loved”. What has generally puzzled the fans of Katerina Liolyu is that she herself when she first started said she sings rock songs, which is not true since she is now only concerned with pop and folk music.
