The teenager—described as a dedicated football player with a local St. Dimitrios club—was walking to training when he was ambushed by a 23-year-old man seeking money.
A Brutal Assault Caught on Foot
According to eyewitnesses, the victim was attacked near a side alley. One witness recounted hearing desperate cries of “Help! Help!” before seeing the bleeding teen emerge from the narrow street. As bystanders rushed to administer first aid, the young man managed to say that his assailant had tried to rob him—and that he didn’t recognize the attacker.
