A 27-year-old special guard was arrested on Friday, August 28, 2026, following allegations of sexual harassment against a 16-year-old girl in Athens. As she left the premises, an officer assigned to that unit followed her in his personal vehicle.
Incident at Intersection of Aphrodite and Poseidonos Streets
The officer reportedly parked near the intersection of Aphrodite and Poseidonos streets, approached the girl, and made inappropriate comments—including telling her, “You’re very beautiful.” Despite her repeated statements about being underage, he attempted to embrace her, placing his hands around her waist. When she explicitly refused, he tried to kiss her. She pushed him away with her hands and fled the scene.
Father Files Complaint; Victim Identifies Suspect
The girl’s father filed a formal complaint with the Hellenic Police later the same day. During subsequent questioning by investigators, the minor confirmed the details of the incident and positively identified the suspect from a photo lineup as the officer involved.
Arrest and Legal Proceedings
