A violent altercation over a poolside sunbed left a 13-year-old British girl seriously injured at a hotel in Santa Susanna, a coastal town in Catalonia, Spain. According to witness accounts, the incident erupted when the teenager sat on a sunbed without realizing it had already been claimed by another family.
What began as a heated verbal dispute quickly escalated into physical violence near the hotel’s swimming pool. Tourists reportedly clashed, and the confrontation spiraled out of control — resulting in the girl sustaining visible injuries, including a broken nose and significant facial bleeding.
The girl was taken away from the scene covered in blood. Additional tourists reportedly suffered minor injuries during the brawl. The incident occurred at a hotel approximately 40 miles northeast of Barcelona.
