A total of 74,327 vouchers under the Social Tourism Program of DYPA were activated across tourist accommodations in Greece during June 2025, according to an announcement made by DYPA on July 2, 2025. Beneficiaries of the program can enjoy up to 6 overnight stays at selected accommodations from the Providers Registry, after direct communication with the provider, with only a small personal contribution. The most popular destination was Evia, followed by Halkidiki and Pieria. Notably, 15 regional units recorded the highest number of activated vouchers during the month. For stays on islands like Leros, Lesvos, Chios, Kos, and Samos, beneficiaries can enjoy up to 10 free overnight stays, while in Northern Evia, Evros, and Thessaly (excluding the Sporades), they can stay for up to 12 nights at no cost. In addition to accommodation, ferry tickets are also subsidized under the program, with beneficiaries covering 25% of the cost, while people with disabilities receive free ferry tickets.
