Small Plane Crash Near Manchester Leaves Two Critically Injured

A small plane crashed at around 7:30 PM local time on Tuesday (April 209, 2025) near Manchester, England. The incident left two people critically injured. Both severely injured individuals from the crash at Burton Airport, close to Manchester, were transported to Salford Royal Hospital. Barton Aerodrome in Eccles, Salford, is located west of Manchester city. Lee Parry, a firefighter stationed nearby, told Bolton News that the plane was reportedly upside down with fuel leaking. ‘The plane is said to be upside down. Two people have been seriously injured. Fuel has leaked, and there are debris scattered around the area,’ he mentioned. Three fire service vehicles remained at the scene for approximately an hour.
