Skoda: The wide range increased sales by 6.9%

While in Greece we expect Elroq, the new fully electric compact SUV, which will be next door to Enyaq and boost the sales of electric vehicles, with a starting price of about 33,000 euros, Skoda presents the most renewed range in its history. Starting in 2024 , in which Skoda , a member of the VW group , delivered 926,600 vehicles , with an increase of 6.9% compared to 2023, the year we are going through is expected to be as dynamic despite the issues that exist regarding the limits of pollutants. CORVERSE Productively, Octavia with 215,700 sales (+12.4%) was the leading model and followed Kamiq with 126,000 units (+8.2%) and Fabia with 117,100 units (+24.1%). Small drop by -2,6% had its sales of pure electric Enyaq (79,500 units). However, there are already over 20,000 orders for the new Elroq electric, which will be printed in sales within 2025. As far as markets are concerned, Germany remains Skoda’s largest market, with 187,100 deliveries (+18,5%), while a large percentage increase was recorded in Turkey (+25.7%) with 42,200 units, Spain (+20.6%) and 36,300 units, Poland (+13.9%) and 61,400 units and the United Kingdom (+11.9%) and 78,700 units. In Western Europe Skoda had a sales increase of 12.1%, in Central Europe by 3.8% and Eastern Europe by 13%, but in the Asian market facing economic recession it had a 26.3% decrease in India and 23.1% in China.
