Siblings of Dionysios Break Down Upon Seeing Rare Video of Their Late Sister Tasoula

In an emotionally charged atmosphere, last night’s (08.03.2025) broadcast of ‘Parea’ concluded with the three siblings—Angelos, Diamantis, and Stelios Dionysios—invited to honor their late father, the legendary singer Stratos Dionysios. The show was dedicated to the life and work of the beloved artist, coinciding with a tribute performance. Despite expecting a moving experience, the siblings were unprepared for what unfolded on air. During the program, a video featuring their sister Tasoula Dionysios, who passed away in 2012 at the age of 53, was aired. Presenter Giorgos Kouvaras noted, “I know there is an element in your lives that has always been a loss, a great wound.” Watching the video where Tasoula spoke about her relationship with her brothers and father, the trio broke down in tears. Kouvaras added, “We believed a show about Stratos Dionysios couldn’t exclude Tasoula, who left too soon. It’s inevitable not to be moved, and I am touched even though I never met her.” Stelios responded, “You caught us off guard,” unable to hold back his tears. Tasoula’s passing left a significant void in her family; she succumbed to cancer without meeting her grandchild, whom she longed to know, just 22 years after her father’s death and two months before her daughter’s child was born.
