Shocking Video Shows Violent Assault by Masked Individuals at Polytechnic University

The Zografou area was turned into a war zone as masked individuals attacked an employee of the Mechanical Engineers School, along with students. Shocking videos circulating online show a violent assault at the Polytechnic University where around 20 masked people brutally beat a man with metal rods. The incident began in the courtyard, where the attackers clashed with members of other factions, leading to the violent episode. Subsequently, the masked individuals entered the school’s cafeteria, where an employee objected to their planned poster distribution. One of them verbally abused the woman. Notably, this incident occurred on the first day of operation for the cafeteria after years of occupation that was recently ended. Following the event, police were called, and significant forces arrived immediately. The masked group also caused damage to a bus operating a regular route within the university campus. Police forces withdrew shortly after 5:30 PM. This new act of violence at a university follows closely on the heels of a bloody attack at the Law School of Athens just 24 hours earlier, where a postdoctoral student was injured by masked individuals who stormed an event threatening to kill those present.
