In a shocking incident captured on video, a reckless driver in Kaminia collided with a café in Piraeus, injuring three people, including two 13-year-old children. The accident occurred at noon on Thursday (May 22, 2025), when the 49-year-old driver ran a red light, hitting a motorcycle and dragging it along with its rider. Simultaneously, as shown in the footage, the vehicle also struck two 13-year-olds who had just left school. Security cameras from the café recorded the entire event, capturing the moment the car hit the sidewalk, dragging the victims while slightly bumping into a man sitting at one of the café’s tables, causing him to fall off his chair. After violating the traffic signal, both the driver and the two minors were taken to the hospital and are reported to be in stable condition. The 49-year-old driver was arrested and charged with dangerous driving, abandonment of the scene, and bodily harm.
