Teen Charged with Murder
A 14-year-old boy has been charged with Lily’s murder, according to the Daily Mail. He appeared in court on 29 June and remains in custody pending his next hearing. The trial is scheduled to begin on 23 November at Gwent Crown Court and is expected to last four weeks.
Cause of Death Confirmed
At today’s preliminary hearing—held on 6 July—forensic pathologist Dr. Caroline Saunders confirmed the cause of death as multiple stab wounds to the neck and torso. The prosecution alleges the teenager was fatally stabbed in the chest and throat.
