In 2025 she did not enter with her… right for her Danny Olmo and Pau Victor, after the Catalans’ request—to register the two players in their registries ahead of the second round of the league—was thrown into the void, by not making it acceptable. A few hours after the announcement issued by Barcelona, to announce that she imposed a request on La Liga both for Danny Olmo, and for Pau Victor, the rejection came from the organizing authority. CORVERSE Danny Olmo joined Barcelona in the summer of 2024 by Leipzig, with a transfer of 55m euros. Due to the financial constraints imposed by La Liga, the player was temporarily enrolled for the first half of the season with the prospect of renewing his registration for the remainder of the period. However, the organizer rejected Barcelona’s request to renew Olmo’s registration, citing a breach of financial control regulations. Barcelona filed an appeal to the Barcelona Commercial Court, seeking Olmo’s temporary registration by the end of the season. The court rejected the request, stressing that the use of injury exemptions should not be used to exceed the wage limit. At the same time, the club’s management attempted to boost its finances through the sale of VIP seats and suites to the new Camp Nu, aiming to secure 100m euros, in order to comply with La Liga’s regulations. CORVERSE As Marca, La Liga, reports, did not accept the request of the “blaugrana”. This decision has created uncertainty around Danny’s future Olmo in “blaugrana”, as he is theoretically free to compete in any group he wishes. “LaLiga informs her that as of today, December 31st, FC Barcelona has not presented any alternative that, under LaLiga’s financial control regulations, would allow her to register any player since January 2nd”, is stated in the announcement. Barcelona’s next moves and both players’ moves are expected with great interest.
