Ship Passenger Assaults Teenager Returning from School Trip in Italy

A shocking incident has occurred aboard a ship where a passenger assaulted a teenage girl. The 16-year-old student was returning with her classmates after a week-long school trip to Italy. What was supposed to be an enjoyable experience turned into a harrowing ordeal for the teenager. According to reports from Star on April 7, 2025, the girl from Phthiotis was returning from her trip when a French passenger emerged from his cabin and suddenly began attacking her in front of her terrified classmates before retreating back inside. Upon arrival at Igoumenitsa, the French man attempted to hide in the ship’s garage but was apprehended by the crew as part of the immediate investigation. The teenager was taken to the hospital with bruises. Initially denying the attack, the man later claimed the children were making noise and woke his baby. This disturbing event involves a new father as the perpetrator.
