Shell Stations – The Love Van: Continue to highlight the value of volunteering

Coral S.A. – Shell Licensee continues to support the initiative The Love Van goes to school enabling primary, high school and high school students from all over Greece to experience the joy of offering and volunteering, cooking with The Love Van team in their school and distributing full meals to Organizations that the same students will have chosen, supporting people in need. Shell stations have been actively and firmly supporting The Love Van’s actions for the last 4 years with equipment and financial support, while the company’s employees have also contributed to the initiative with a voluntary offer. Since this action began, the results have been impressive: 4 months (March 2024 – June 2024) and resumed October 2024 9 municipalities outside Athens 10 within Attica 36 schools 880 students 4,050 portions 69 structures received food from the action Shell stations support The Love Van’s new journey while updating their customers about each destination as well as how their transactions will count for good, through purchases in Shell station halls and using the loyalty card. For this new period, visits are planned to at least 40 other schools throughout Greece, aiming to raise awareness of more children, as well as the participation of employees of the company in actions that will take place in Perama and Kalochori Thessaloniki. Coral Director General S.A. – Shell Licensee, Circe Kalatzis said: “The benefits of such action are multiple and important, emphasising the feelings we feel when we see the smile on children’s faces. Their joy when they cook and especially when they donate food and their initiation to volunteerism makes this action one of the most important we have experienced, while developing their emotional intelligence. We have been firmly supporting in recent years the actions of The Love Van trying to improve the future of our children.”
