Sexual Assault Incident in Kallithea: Woman Attacked While Driving to Work

A horrifying incident of sexual harassment took place in a central location in Kallithea on Thursday morning, May 8, 2025. A 38-year-old woman recounted her harrowing experience to Live News while driving to work. Around 5 a.m., as she approached a traffic light, a young man between the ages of 25-30 walked toward her car. He was holding a sexual aid and began making inappropriate gestures near her vehicle. The shocking event occurred on Doirani Street in Kallithea. The woman described how the man aggressively struck her car hood with the object before moving to hit a nearby electricity pole with immense force. Despite being recorded on her mobile phone, the attacker eventually fled the scene. The victim expressed deep shock, noting that the man appeared unstable, with his eyes appearing unusually dilated. ‘I froze,’ she said. ‘It’s been hours since then, and I’m still in shock.’ Authorities are investigating the case.
