Severe Weather Alert: Storms, Hail, and 9-Beaufort Winds Hit 8 Regions

Western Greece, northeastern mainland areas, and the eastern Aegean islands face severe weather today (05.02.2026), with thunderstorms, hail, and winds up to 9 Beaufort. The Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY) has issued an updated severe weather bulletin and an orange alert. Meteorologists describe this as a typical but locally hazardous storm system.
