Severe Accident on Poseidonos Avenue Leaves Two Critically Injured

A severe accident occurred shortly before one o’clock this morning (27.03.2025) near the intersection with Terpsichore Street in Paleo Faliro. A car carrying a couple veered off its lane and collided with a column. According to information from orangepress.gr, both passengers sustained serious injuries and were transported to hospitals. The Poseidonos Avenue was temporarily closed due to debris scattered across the road. The collision was so intense that the engine detached from the vehicle, and the female passenger was ejected from the car. The male driver was also severely injured and had to be extricated. Emergency services, including ambulances from EKAB, firefighters, and police officers for traffic control, rushed to the scene. A tow truck later removed the damaged vehicle.
