Serrai: Eulogy for the 77-Year-Old Missing Man Found Deceased

The thrilling search for a 77-year-old man from Kavala ended tragically when the unfortunate elderly man was found deceased in the area of Prophet Elias, Amphipolis Municipality, Serrai. His trail had been lost since February 27th when he disappeared from Lydia Kavala. His wife reported to the police that he left home with his car and never returned, prompting an extensive search and a Silver Alert issued by the Lifeline organization. This morning (03.03.2025), a passerby noticed a car at the bottom of a 20-meter gorge with a person inside. The police were alerted, and firefighters rushed to the scene to recover the vehicle. It was confirmed that the car belonged to the missing man. Investigations into the case are ongoing.
