Serious Burns at Hospital: Chef from ‘Hide & Seek’ Restaurant After Gas Cylinder Explosion

A serious incident occurred on Tuesday evening, March 25, 2025, at the kitchen of the ‘Hide & Seek’ restaurant in Chalandri. Two employees were injured following a gas cylinder explosion and were immediately transported to the hospital with severe burns. One of them, the head chef of the restaurant, suffered critical injuries. The area was promptly evacuated after the explosion, and the timely intervention of eight firefighters using three vehicles was crucial in extinguishing the fire and preventing further damage. The explosion happened shortly before 11 PM, and the exact causes are currently under investigation by the relevant authorities.
