Serious Accident in Sparta: Three Men Rescued Unconscious

A very serious accident occurred on Friday, March 7th, 2025, outside Sparta. The incident happened on the provincial road connecting Sparta and Mystras when a car veered off the road under currently unclear circumstances. Emergency services, including three fire department vehicles with eight firefighters, rushed to the scene. Three men were extracted from the vehicle unconscious and were transported to a hospital in Sparta by an EKAB ambulance. The police are investigating to clarify the conditions that led to the accident. According to the fire service’s tweet, ‘Unconscious, three men were rescued from a severely damaged car and handed over to EKAB following the vehicle’s deviation from the road on the Sparta-Mystras provincial road in the municipality of Sparta. Eight firefighters intervened using three vehicles.’
