Search Operations in Saronikos for Missing 61-Year-Old Woman Aboard Ferry to Chios

An emergency operation is underway at the port as a 61-year-old woman who boarded a ferry from Athens to Chios has gone missing. Currently, search efforts are being conducted in the Saronikos sea area by the harbor authorities to locate the missing female passenger. It is suspected that she may have fallen overboard. According to the Hellenic Coast Guard, the 61-year-old boarded the ferry destined for Chios but could not be found after a search by her relatives. The rescue operation involves three harbor vessels and one military helicopter, with winds blowing at a force of 5 on the Beaufort scale.
