Seajets Deploys Firefighting Teams to Chios Aboard SuperRunner Jet 2

At around 18:00, the high-speed ferry ‘SuperRunner Jet 2’ operated by Seajets departed from the New Port of Drapetsona. The vessel, measuring 110 meters in length and capable of speeds over 30 knots, transported robust firefighting teams and vehicles to the island of Chios. This deployment was aimed at assisting in the efforts to extinguish a massive wildfire currently raging on the island. Seajets responded promptly, completing all necessary preparations and loading within an hour and a half of receiving the request from authorities.
