Saudi Arabia: Those who are associated with Hezbollah will be punished

Saudi Arabia said yesterday that it would punish anyone who belongs to Hezbollah – the shiite lebanese organization that supports Iran in Lebanon – expresses sympathy for her, financially supports or protects a member of.
According to a statement from the ministry of the Interior which was broadcast by the state agency, SPA, the saudis and foreign residents will suffer “severe penalties” in accordance with the regulations of the kingdom and the anti-terror laws, while the nationals of other member will be deported.
The announcement follows the decision of the League of Arab states on Friday to declare Hezbollah a terrorist organization, and raises the possibility of further sanctions against the organization, which has a strong presence in Lebanon and are fighting alongside the forces of president Bashar al-Assad in Syria.
