Saleh Μουσλίμ: Turkey invaded Syria to save the Islamic State

The co-chair of the kurdish socialist party in Syria, PYD, Saleh Μουσλίμ, said during a visit to the European Parliament that the …
Turkey invaded Syria because of the support of the Islamic State (ISIS), which has failed to halt the advance of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
“The Turkish invasion in Τζαραμπλούς, in Ροζάβα, and in Syria, is not a sudden event. The Turkish government has its own design and still consider it the Ροζάβα and the Syrian parts of the Ottoman Empire. Turkey is trying to meet its targets in northern Syria by supporting and using the Islamic State, and we have some evidence that we can give them,” said Saleh Μουσλίμ at a Press conference in Brussels.
“These receipts show the relationships between the ISIS and the Turkish government, and we can give them to you. Turkey is using the Islamic State for the purpose of and when the Islamic State failed because of the struggle of the people of the Ροζάβα [northern Syria] Kurds, Arabs and christians, Turkey was forced to make with their own hands [in the Τζαραμπλούς],” he said.
“The model that we have established in the Ροζάβα is a very democratic model, and could be a model for the whole Middle East because now we can find relations between the Turkish government, the Assad regime, even with iranian support, all of them together to want to destroy this model”, said the Kurdish leader.
Saleh Μουσλίμ he even said that the territory of the Ροζάβα, in northern Syria, has been in existence for three years an embargo by Turkey, the Islamic State and iraqi Kurdistan.
“We have camps for displaced people in the cantons of Τσεζίρε, Company and Αφρίν,” he said. “From the moment that we don’t get any support, we strive to support the refugees than on our own. And because of the embargo on the Ροζάβα the NGOS can not reach in these camps”.
The Kurdish leader called for the support of the European Union to lift the embargo and to reach medicines to the refugees.
