For reasons of public interest , it is legitimate to place temporary administration in the . This judged the Fourth Department of St.E. with Vice President Spyridoula Chrysikopoulou and rapporteur for State Counsel Maria Athanasopoulou. State Councillors in No. 1746/2024 their decision states that the “Civator of the World” has been registered in the General Commercial Register (GEMI) and constitutes an urban non-profit company (AMKE). The legislative rules on ‘organized social welfare services’ are underlined by State Councillors, ‘provide for increased supervision of bodies which are dictated and justified by the need to protect vulnerable social groups who are recipients of the services, which include primarily minors’. In particular, it is underlined in the judgment, ‘the measure of the definition of temporary administration, which constitutes an intervention in the autonomy of legal persons, is imposed on grounds of public interest, is recommended to ensure the required level of care and treatment of beneficiaries and goes back to the state supervision of those bodies and the constitutional obligation of the State to take the necessary measures to protect childhood and youth’. The extension of the temporary administration, in accordance with the decision of the Board of Directors, aims ‘to satisfy the interests of both the beneficiaries and the body itself in order to ensure its smooth operation until conditions allow for the emergence of a new reliable administration by its statutory bodies’, moreover, this is a measure ‘of an exceptional temporary nature’. The STE rejected all the claims made and considered that the contested decisions to be ‘legal and sufficiently justified’ as unfounded. The Council of State had appealed to the elder Stamatia Georgantis and the mother of Father Antony, Despina in the capacity of the sole partners of the non-profit company, asking that the two ministerial decisions with which she was appointed temporary administration be cancelled and her term of office extended. It is recalled that by a recent decision Father Antony was sentenced to four years and three months in prison with Father Antonio for abusive behavior in the Ark of the World. The court sentenced four associates of the founder of the organization to prison sentences from 17 to 40 months.
