Russia: Ukrainian POW Tied to Motorcycle and Dragged to Death – Shocking Execution Video

in

A shocking video has sparked outrage after surfacing online, showing a Ukrainian prisoner of war (POW) being tied to a motorcycle and dragged until he died. The Ukrainian Ombudsman, Dmytro Lubinets, sent an official letter to the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross, accusing the Russian army of committing a war crime by executing the captured soldier.

‘Russian forces have likely executed another POW. This alleged execution adds to growing evidence that Russian troops are systematically violating the Geneva Conventions by killing Ukrainian prisoners of war,’ Lubinets stated in a public release. He added, ‘This is a clear act of brutality and yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation.’

In the disturbing footage, two men on motorcycles are seen near the victim lying on the ground. A drone then captures the motorcycle moving forward while the man is dragged behind it. Although unconfirmed, this incident is part of ongoing allegations against Russian forces.

The Ukrainian military intelligence reported in May that it had documented over 150 cases of Ukrainian soldiers executed after surrendering to Russian forces. Officials noted that these were only confirmed cases, and the actual number may be higher. According to Kyiv, such executions are not isolated but rather part of a broader, deliberate policy directed by Russia’s military leadership. Multiple reports suggest Russian soldiers have received direct orders to kill POWs.
