Intense cross-border attacks were reported overnight along the Russia–Ukraine front. In a new drone strike early Wednesday, July 22, 2026, Ukrainian forces targeted warehouses belonging to Wildberries—the largest e-commerce company in Russia, authorities confirmed.
The attack killed one person and injured eight others at Wildberries’ facilities in southern Russia—just days after a deadly weekend assault on the same company’s sites. That earlier strike, on Saturday, July 18, killed eight night-shift workers and triggered massive fires that effectively destroyed the affected warehouses.
Tatiana Kim, CEO and chairwoman of Wildberries, said staff had to be urgently evacuated from logistics centers in the southern cities of Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk.
“A warehouse complex caught fire following a drone strike in the Nevinnomyssk district,” said Vladimir Vladimirov, governor of Stavropol Krai (in southern Russia), in a Telegram post.
Vladimirov added that five people required medical treatment, though he did not specify the severity of their injuries. Thick black smoke rose from a burning Wildberries warehouse in Krasnodar, according to Reuters imagery.
Russia’s operational coordination center reported one fatality and ten injuries in what it described as a ‘massive’ drone raid on a facility in Armavir—but did not clarify whether that site was also operated by Wildberries.
