Russia: Comedian Jailed Nearly 6 Years for Joke Mocking Disabled War Veteran

Since the start of the war in Ukraine, censorship in Russia has intensified dramatically, with harsh penalties imposed on anyone deemed by authorities to have spoken offensively or spread ‘false information’ about the Russian military.
