Romania took Kosovo’s card game but was heavily punished

The UEFA disciplinary committee decided that its struggle with the Nations League was interrupted at the expense of the guests and thus the match was awarded to the Romanians 3-0. Just before the finale of the match and the score at 0–0, Kosovo players became furious with a series of slogans against their homeland and in favour of Serbia, by Romanian fans on the field. The Kosovars mentioned challenges from the platform and so decided not to complete games for the Nations League. A few days later, Romania and Kosovo learned the fate of the race interrupted in Bucharest. UEFA’s disciplinary committee decided to award the match in favour of Romania 3-0, as the match was interrupted at Kosovo’s fault. At the same time Kosovo was fined six thousand euros. For its part, Romania was punished with a race behind closed doors and a fine of 128 thousand euros.
