Rhodes: Hotel Worker Fatally Trapped in Laundry Press

A tragic incident occurred in Faliraki, Rhodes, on Sunday morning (April 13, 2025), resulting in the death of a hotel worker. According to rodiaki.gr, the 65-year-old employee became trapped in a laundry press at a local hotel. Emergency rescue teams from EKAB and the Rhodes Fire Service were immediately deployed in an attempt to free the man. Despite extraordinary efforts by the rescue teams, the 65-year-old was retrieved unconscious, and his death was confirmed on the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate accident.
