Rhodes: Four Arrests in Fan Violence Incident – Three More Individuals Involved

The Rhodes police have arrested four individuals involved in a fan violence incident, with three accomplices still being sought. Specifically, criminal charges for violating the Sports Legislation (fan violence) were filed against three Greek nationals—two aged 19 and one aged 25—as well as a 20-year-old foreigner, who were detained on Monday, March 10, by officers from the Rhodes Crime Investigation Division. The case involves three additional individuals who are collaborators of those arrested. According to an immediate investigation into a related complaint, the perpetrators approached two men in the early hours of the morning and attacked them unprovoked, using violence, threats, and insults motivated by football fandom. The detainees were brought before the Rhodes Primary Court Prosecutor, while investigations continue to locate the remaining suspects.
