Rhodes: 41-Year-Old Arrested in Connection with Elderly Man’s Murder

On Friday, June 6, 2025, a 41-year-old man was arrested by the police in connection with the murder of a 78-year-old man that took place in June 2022 in Rhodes. It is noted that earlier this year, in March 2023, a 42-year-old had already been arrested in relation to the elderly victim’s murder, which occurred in the city of Rhodes. According to the police, during the ongoing investigation, evidence emerged leading to formal charges against the 41-year-old. The Public Prosecutor of the Primary Court of Rhodes was informed, and actions were ordered, identifying the 41-year-old as involved in the case. He was located on Thursday morning in Rhodes, brought in for questioning, and an arrest warrant was issued against him. The suspect was subsequently transferred to the Primary Court Prosecutor of Rhodes.
