Souzy Kazantzidou, the esteemed reporter for ALPHA in Thessaloniki, has passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. A dedicated journalist until her last days, Souzy Kazantzidou served for years as a reporter, covering all major news stories in Thessaloniki and Northern Greece. She began her career with sports reporting at a newspaper and later worked in television and radio. Known for her dynamic and straightforward approach, she held the position of editor-in-chief of the ALPHA office in Thessaloniki in recent years, coordinating news coverage for the station’s broadcasts. Despite battling cancer for several years, Kazantzidou remained steadfast in her commitment to journalism. She leaves behind her daughter and a newborn grandchild.
